Future Projects

I picked up Marvelous. Haven’t been able to get much time into it or modding because of IRL work taking its toll on me. But I’ve seen what it can do, and I can work with it somewhat.

The only issue is texturing, and that’s something I haven’t been good at even though I’ve done it a few times for ugly monster characters.

It’s practically one of the bigger reasons why I haven’t been able to get the Origa Discordia outfit into a finalized state, despite having the main mesh outfit already uhh… ready.

For now, there’s an outfit I want to try working on. It’s relatively simple with the only real issue being the armpit area, similar to the Kokoro top.

I’ve recently, finally, finished a new mod, and it’ll be on patreon for several weeks. If I have a new mod ready within those week, then it’ll release publicly soon after. If not, then it’ll release once I finish.

If you haven’t seen it already, check out the post below for a new public mod.

If you’re new here, why not click on some of the tabs above for all my public mods.

Body Mods Oreo Update

I have updated 3 of my older mods with the latest version of Oreo Body in the half-off state. This also improves support for smaller breasts.

These are standalone mods, so you don’t need the Oreo mod for it to work. Just wear the “body clothes” and switch to the half off state to access Oreo’s version.

If you know how to use StudioNEO, Nodes, RendererEditor, and HSPE, you should be able to use these to their fullest potential, within the studio’s limits ofc.

General Update

Patreon is being paused for the month of June since I didn’t have anything for release this month for patrons. Current patrons won’t be charged, but new patrons will.

Patreon is also adding taxes next month, which will affect patrons on a case by case basis. I guess that means you’ll get a month to get use to the tax rates.

T-Pose has been updated to include an A-Pose. More info found on the T-Pose page here.

Patreon poll is going to end Friday. It was supposed to end a week ago.

Current set of clothes is still being worked on. Even if its a custom, something else has been preventing me from working on it in a timely manner. It’s also been through 3 passes.

This picture is the 2D template I’m working from. The 3D version is partly done, and an alpha version will be released sometime this week or next week for patrons.

I’ve been thinking of making blank meshes to take advantage of overlays, but time will tell when HS2 rolls around.

April 24th

Edit: I have restored the Women’s Clothes page from a backup and slightly altered the layout. I have also applied the same alterations to the studio page. This changes how the tables were aligned and set up.

========================================================================

Mod Update

Velguirie the Nightmare Princess’s clothes has been completed and available early for Burning patrons and up. Embers will be given access next week through the mail, and patron access the week after.
It’ll be public around the same week as patrons.

========================================================================

Modding Update

Joan has released the Timeline mod on his patreon page. He noted that HSPE now has support for IK tweaking, and so I’ve gone ahead of started converting a few things to IK.

Hotdog and SOS will be getting a new standalone update using IK. If you’re savvy with Nodesconstraint and colliders, you can make use of this soon.

========================================================================

StudioNEO Issues

I’ve also received reports that old scenes sometimes end up with limp dongs when you load. If you’re reading this and run into these issues, please download one of the older/newer versions of the dongs.

Because of this, I have removed neffarious versions of Hotdog, keeping only 1.07 and 1.03.

The error was because I changed a few technical things between versions 1.03 and 1.04 relating to nodesconstraint.

========================================================================

Polls

If you aren’t a patron, the next project has been decided. It’s going to be a custom clothes of Discordia Olga from Kuroinu.

She doesn’t wear a lot, and its pretty form fitting. This should be easier than the drapery that was Sword Maiden.

Blogging March 24

Not a lot to talk about that isn’t me going into technical details, so I’ll be brief.

Dungeon Samurai

A new port is now available. It’ll be available to Embers next week on my patreon. Everyone else the week after. Hopefully I don’t need to rush an update again.

==================

LRE+IBL presets

My LRE+IBL preset is available for download. It’s just prepackaged to make it easier to install.
You can find it in the LRE preset folder here.

It’s not much, but I use it as a base to set up my characters before I switch to IBL.

LRE is meant to be customizable, so just edit the xmls files in the ImageEffect folder to get the colors to your liking. This will become your base or starting point. Once you activate IBL, magic happens.

In a sense:
LRE = Default, base, or starting point.
IBL = A scene by scene basis of magic.

==================

Longcoat for AI

If you remember the Yakuza set of clothes I ported earlier, I’ve ported the longcoat to AI as well. If you’re on discord, you can find it in the AI-mod sharing. This was just a one-off thing to test the waters. Now I know the process, I just need the motivation.

==================

Gave up on Sword Maiden

I just couldn’t pull the motivation into doing it anymore. Too many shots in the dark, too little results. Even though it’s just drapes! I’ve considered to take a step back for a breather, and try something else, like a really big coat.

Stay safe everyone, and drink plenty of water!

Progress Report

I have ported a new set of clothes. Burning patrons can pick it up now over on my patreon page while it undergoes more polish, if any.
Everyone else, wait a while.

Sword Maiden

is actually much more difficult than I thought. I have to balance between how I want to rig it and how I want to model it, while making sure people can customize it.

I think I could’ve gotten something out sooner if it was tight clothes or a simple dress, but its drapery all over.

Polishing

If you missed the previous posts, I have polished up the Steampunk Casual outfits. They have been given new shaders and a facelift, fixing some minor problems, adding more customizability, and a few other things mentioned on the page. Of course, it’ll overwrite the old stuff with good stuff.

I’m planning on doing some polishing to some more clothes that may need them, though it may be restricted to only SB3UGS.
Current target: Chun-Li and Voguish

Jan 12 2020

So many things happening this week.

Hotdog Deluxe was updated.
I was playing around with a particular plugin and found that hotdog was having some issues with its dynamics when one of the bones was being manipulated by an outside source. After some trial and error, the end result was just moving the start of the dynamics 1 bone. There’s no huge difference, but it solves a technical issue not many people may have ran into yet.

Burning patrons now have access to a swimsuit port. Marie’s Princess Rosette uniform. This was an old commission, revisited to allow for bigger boobies. You can pick it up right now here. For everyone else, wait a while!

Leifang and Sarah’s leather suits are set to go public sometime this week. Patrons can pick them up immediately, just click the pics on the catalog. Everyone else, just be wee bit more patient.

If you somehow missed the last post. I ported some plain straps.
The person who requested it really wanted straps, and we didn’t have straps, so now we do! It was also their birthday, so happy birthday!

Get the straps here.

Speaking of genitals, it was updated again!
It was brought to my attention that the vagina was overlapping over itself for some reason. This was because I changed the angling of the bones to be more claw-like. This would yield better looking deformations when the vagina opened. However, it was more likely to be pushed in by dynamic colliders than open. This update changes the bone layout to decrease the chance of that happening.

Sword Maiden
I’ve been working on this on and off for quite a while, and there’s not much to show of it.

I seriously need to get the blocking of all the parts down before going into detailing, but I obsess over stupid things. I’ll get back to Vindictus ports eventually.

Other Modding Stuff
I was speaking with another modder over the potential of using blendshapes for certain things. Blendshapes were recognized through Uncensor Selector, and all I did was add a couple morphs here and there. It might not look like blendshapes, but its blendshapes.

It has been possible for a while, but no one really did anything with it, much like how vagina blendshapes with UC2 has been possible for a while ever since HSPE supported blendshapes.

Hhopefully we’ll get indented thighs for certain pantyhoses and socks. Uncensor Selector has it easy in that regard, which HS lacks. We’re stuck with custom body tops for quite a while.

There’s still some technicalities that needs to be figured out with UC2 blendshape vaginas.

I also switched over to BepInEx. There’s still some stuff that needs to be ironed out, but it works.

This might be the only long post for a while.
Until next time~

[Mod] Dyna / FK Vagina Concept v1.2

Dynamic Vagina concept mod, using SBX body.

Similar to how FK Toes and Doll Body was done, this adds four top each with a different function.
Dynamic has 9 bone chains.
Dynamic Simple has 4 bone chains.
FK has no dynamics. Use HSPE to manipulate them.

See it in action: https://gfycat.com/amplebouncyblackbuck-studioneo64exe

Even if you’re not an animator, you can pose still pose the pussy when wearing the top.

StudioNEO only.
- Does not work well with vanilla animations or main game.
- If bones do not show up after switching clothes, you might have to save and reload the scene.
- Might clip with certain pubic hairs.

Required Mods:
- BonesFramework
- SBX2.5e
- HSPE

Instuctions
If using dynamic vagina, you must reduce the size of the colliders for your girl. Otherwise, you’ll get weird aligned vagina.

I can’t put this in a different slot because the top is the only place I know where I can put a custom body at this time.

DL: https://mega.nz/file/3Q8EDLbY
Key: w7IgoKLHF3Q-Qdz1HG52Qn4rXYyzGXF7JkbZG9f-HuI

Ver 1.01
- Extremely minor update.
- Adjusted some weights for the simple version.
- Removed a useless file ante_dyna_puss_transfer.unity3d. This file isn’t used for anything and can be safely deleted. It was used to hold some data during modding.
- Changed bone names for maya related stuff. If I ever do an update, things shouldn’t break. Not sure if it affected anything in version 1.00.

Ver 1.1
-
Added bones to clitoris.
- Changed some weights and repaired some errors.
- Moved root bones to for better rotations.
- Adjusted dynamic properties slightly.
I’m not sure if existing scenes will break.

Ver 1.11
- Moved bones around.
- Increase collision radius.
- These should decrease the likely chance of pushing the vagina inwards.
- FK version remains the same.
- Some weight adjustments.

Ver 1.2
- Half off mode has been converted into Oreo body.

Progress Nov 24

An unreleased mod is making its way to public in a couple of weeks.
It’s a really old mod, made long before I made the switch to using Unity3D as my primary modding tool.

If you’re a patron, why not check out the simple previews here?
If you’ve been on my twitter or other places, you might’ve already seen it in a lineup of other… uhh… unreleased mods.
If you’re a burning patron, you can pick it up now.
For everyone else, wait a while!

If you a patron, you might’ve seen me talking about Sword Maiden’s cape.
Well about that.

I fucked up!

October 25

It’s been a while since there’s been one of these…

There hasn’t  been much activity at, pretty much all, but here are some things I’ve been up to with the time I can scrounge up.

A compensation mod is now available for patrons. Ember access is in a couple of days actually. Get it now here, or check out the small previews.

I don’t want this to be a habit however.

===========================================

I’ve done the necklace and hip ornaments for sword maiden. Lowpoly, but recognizable. Design was never my forte, so going off of only a handful of 2D references was a bit tough.

===========================================

I’ve modified A Members JF Hairs to an alt texture. This will replace the hairs, so please do a backup before installing it.
For Single Color: https://mega.nz/#!aE8mXa4D

For Dual Color: https://mega.nz/#!edEWTQaR

===========================================

I’ve modified my T-Pose mod. There was some minor errors here and there that didn’t become apparent until certain conditions were met. Once those conditions were met, then the character will start behaving erratically in the maker.

This update resolves that issue for both men and woman.

https://antekorama.blogspot.com/2019/09/mod-character-maker-t-pose.html

===========================================

It’s been a while since I posted anything studio related.
I’ve put together a 4P sex scene using VNGE13+SSS7.5
You’ll also need my hotdog mod and nodesconstraint, and hooh’s experimentals from the discord.
And the usual HSUS, HSPE, etc everything from Joan.
NSFW Gfycat Video: https://gfycat.com/brightsoggyichthyostega

If you have everything, load the scene, replace the characters, and just press F8. Works best with characters using the default heads.

This is my studio folder where I put some of the things I’ve made people may find useful. You can find the scene in question in the VNGE section.

Progress Jun 10

Graphite is being worked on. It’s an easy fit.

The biggest issue is the bodysuit. I’ll just make two variants of it, one top without the bodysuit, and one with.

After this is done, I’ll be working on a commission before working on Dark Magician Girl and Nova.

I learned quite a lot of things with my previous commission, mostly related to bonesframework. Things such as attaching bones to the nipples and dresses riding directly on the butt. It’s really hard to balance between character customization and how they’re weighted to bones.

I’ve also wrote a quick start guide for animating within VNGE two weeks ago.
Check it out here: https://mega.nz/#!iF0SFKZa!pkWyb52Gr4mBF3xni6Hr1MyoXWZ5_3Tx4SX5K6DgVsE
It will help you quickly get acquainted with doing custom animation. The latest update allows you to save everything within scenes, no external files needed!

Once you’ve learn the basics, you should be able to animate about anything, characters, colors, sound, objects connected to characters. Make use of NodeConstraints to open up advanced tech too.

If you learn how to use Save Scene State, you should be able to make a visual novel with custom animation with little to no coding experience.

Nothing else to report,
See you next time.

[Mod] Glass Body Ver 1.02

This is an old experimental mod from a year ago. It uses Alloy shaders, which isn’t really compatible with Rendereditor, but you can try messing around with it anyways.

Original Post from last year: https://www.patreon.com/posts/19414139

To Use
Load one of the Hollow character cards. I don't remember the difference between the LRE card and normal card, but it was probably something with slot IDs.
This loads the glass face outline and skin.
The glass body is a piece of clothing and not a skin.
Additional face details do not work.

To Customize
Face and glass clothes should color match. If you're using the glass preset, the color sliders can be the same.
If you use a different face skin, you'll have to manually adjust the glass body to match the face.
If you want the vagina, just switch out the clothes for the SBX version.

Version 1.02
Enabled blend probes.
It was disabled for a long time, and I really didn’t notice because I was using 4K Diffuse. Since I’ve switched over to LRE, it become a big issue that I wasn’t able to figure out until messing around with Rendereditor 1.4.
This small fix makes it more uniform across different lighting styles, hopefully.

Req:
MoresSlotID
HSStudioInvisible (Very important)

Recommended:
Something to make your character bald. Character cards included use Onefuckman’s bald head.

DL: https://mega.nz/#!vQVhlQaR
Key: uE2FLUzNiAPlYbUwmCNp3m6zXi_-C-HoisdpUbf6d9o

I may try and update this again in the future, or make a new version. I’ve been messing with Roy12’s glass shader and it showed some pretty promising results.

Ideally, I’ll just need to replace my current set with the new shader, but I’m expecting a lot of trial and error to come about to get it just right.

Important info about June Onwards and Patreon

Starting June, my patreon page will start to slow down.
This is mostly because I’ll be undergoing training to go into the work force, so I may no longer have time working on multiple clothing mods per month.

Comissions will be closed, and current commission tiers will be disabled for June.

Pledges will remain active for June, but only Dark Magician Girl’s outfit, winner of the current poll, and leftover stuff from May will be worked on.

Depending on how things go IRL, July may either be paused or proceed as usual.

====================================================

I’ve been working some odd jobs here and there remotely as freelance animator, but it hasn’t been working out. I’m in no condition to be relocating as well, so I’m kind of stuck if I want to work in the game industry.

I have to thank all my patrons for giving me this opportunity and helping me stay afloat. Your funds will help me for a couple more months while I try to find another stable source of income.

I want to eventually transition into making my own clothes, but time will tell when that happens.

I won’t abandon this game just yet. I still haven’t made a Blazermate mod yet.

April 12th

Classic gown was done last week.
Finished a commission yesterday.
Working on a commission today. It looks like it shouldn’t take long.
T-Elos will begin sometime over the weekend.

Afterwards I’ll begin working on commission that goes public.

If I can do these fast, that should wrap the month, giving me time to work on Sword Maiden (finally) or convert some test mods into standalone.

========================================

I reinstalled my game!

This is now, my 8th time or so? I don’t know, but I’ve done it enough time that it doesn’t take me long.

My previous setup relied heavily on JSGME. My current setup uses a hybrid of JSGME and Henk’s modloader that comes with HSResolveMoreSlotID 1.1.

JSGME works by copying items insider the mod folder into the main game while making backups. This works good with anything that replaces the main files. So, I use this to install core items, like SBX, plugins, maybe some userdata entries.

Modloader can read abdata items as well as ggmod. Perfect for any everything else. So if you have 100 different folders with 100 different clothing mods, it can read all of it without you having to merge it all into a single mega abdata folder.

It’s not foolproof. There are certain mods that causes the game to not load the correct data, thus turning everything white. It probably has to do with the way those particular mods are structured…

If you haven’t used it, you might as well start now. It supports moreslotID and HiR without needing to patch anything.
You can even use it while your old mods are still installed.
If you find that it’s not for you, it can easily be removed.

This helps my modding workflow quite a bit; keep everything organized.

Onwards to April

I think I said last week that April will be the same as always, but it might not be the case anymore.

I wrote a giant changelist here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/important-plans-25705951

The shorthand version is as follows:

- Test mods are no longer being made after very voted item release. They will only be made when I have time to play around.
In exchange, $15 patrons have more voting power and regain the right to add items into the polls without waiting for approval or a line.

- Other tiers are now weighted in terms of suggesting content, but otherwise no real change.

- Public release schedules are Fridays/Weekends.
However, $10 patrons and above get releases as soon as they are done.

- Commissions going forward is now $50 for a full costume set instead of $45.
Partial costume sets may be cheaper.

- All release posts will be Patron Only.
You can, however, just keep an eye out on this blog when a new release pops up.

Polls: https://www.patreon.com/posts/25745304
Patrons can vote now.

=============================

Leifang Progress

I probably won’t get done until Wednesday. There’s just too many things going on at once that I don’t have much control over it.

Why not check out Roy12’s new gown in the meantime?

Rena Lanford may or may not be release in April. It depends on how busy my schedule is.

Blog Feb 22

Typing this at midnight so I don’t forget.

Erza will be available to Embers tomorrow here.
A commissioned set of clothes was released earlier this week.

A fancy gown and bikini.

Ember access is on the 26th. Public on the 5th of March.

Custom polls is now open to the public. I’ve already tallied votes from my patrons, but I’d like to hear what other people think. You can vote here.

The top three as of this post are:
1: Sword Maiden
2: Fasalina
3: Agent

Sadly, I wasn’t able to get through everything as fast as I wanted this month.
Things I still need to do:
Convert test mods to complete mods.
Make test suit, either Sword Maiden or a random set of clothes.

I still need to figure out what clothes I should do for the next test suit. I have access to higher quality textures for SKILL Special Force 2, but I also want to get started on Sword Maiden.

As of this post, I am currently working on two commissions at the same time. I should be finish on Friday, this leaves me the weekend to try and finish the last commission for February.

This hopefully would leave me free on the last week of February to finish strong with the poll winner, work on Sword Maiden, or get those suits.

Midweek Progress Report

The final November commission is now being worked on.
A refresher schedule of sorts.

1: Private commission
2: Poll winner
3: Public commission

And that’s all for that.

For Patrons:

I banged out two speed test mods over Christmas to try out. If you’re a Radiant patron, you can play with the test mods and leave your thoughts here.
Don’t forget to leave your thoughts and comments (and maybe even requests).
For former Radiant patrons, you can find the set uploaded to the link sent out earlier this month.

Note: These mods are haphazardly slapped together with no regards to optimization or quality. This allows me to try on clothes as fast as possible without having to clean and polish everything, or set up unique and long list files.

Here are my thoughts on the current set of clothes being tested.

1: Snow White
This is actually pretty old. I manually cut out the skin portions, but the textures and maps are very, very low quality JPGs. It might look good from afar, but it has quite a number of problems up close. Also, it came with gloves and I hate working on gloves due to the tedious nature of it.
Possible candidate. The nature of it makes it look good, but the quality of it is really not up to par.
Priority: Mid

2: Rena Lanford
A single texture map. High quality, but low in resolution. This is actually a good candidate for a standalone release, but it suffers from the same issue as the Kokoro set of casual clothes around the shoulder.
Priority: High

3: Dark Magician Girl
Turning this asset into a real mod probably won’t be a good idea. the proportions is too hard to work with. Textures are pretty plain too, with painted shines.
It actually might be better to use the model as a reference and make a custom model instead.
Due the the size of the shoulders, there shouldn’t be that much of an issue like in Kokoro’s case.
Priority: Low

4: Himiko Toga
HS should probably have several mods that can recreate Himiko’s base form just fine. It’s just missing the large muffler.
The asset has no other textures aside from the diffuse, so it probably needs some work in Zbrush or Substance to give it more life, especially for the sweater.
Priority: Low

Progress Dec 21–Mods and Workflow

H27 is now available early for embers.
Pick it up early here, or to give a helping hand!

Battle Cleric is completed.
Shining Lights can pick it up early here.

I originally wanted to try and finish this on a Wednesday, but I overestimated my own abilities. It was finished Friday Morning, and polished again for several hours to try and get the dynamics just right, especially on necklace. It’s by far probably my best necklace yet, being really boob friendly!

With this, I probably won’t have much to repot on for a week or so because the next two projects are private commissions.
I will try and get the new poll up over the weekends as well as another test suit.

Workflow

I’ve mentioned this several times in the past, and I thought I should sum it up since it’s a nice history lesson.

Workflow 1: My introduction to modding – Ending with Haven Trooper
Step 1: Find unity3d files with bone structures I can borrow.
Step 2: Create an empty asset bundle to house my mod data.
Step 3: Find materials to use.
Step 4: Copy everything necessary into empty asset bundle.
Step 5: Start replacing existing assets with custom assets.

Somewhere between  Workflow 1 and 2, I learned how to make dynamic accessories.

Workflow 2: Intro into Unity – Starting with Shanoa
Empty asset bundle and materials are created in unity, and exported with a generic asset bundle exporter. Existing assets and custom assets are pasted into that bundle, then everything is put together.

Workflow 3: Joan the Savior – Starting with the Luxury Swimsuit
Step 1: Export all assets to Unity
Step 2: Set up materials, and nesting hierarchy.
Step 3: Export.
Step 4: Do any additional nml adjustments or shader replacements.
I started Workflow 3 to take full advantage of Joan’s shaders and his bonesframework.

And there you have it.

Monday Progress Dec 17

Since I had the materials set up beforehand when I was doing the polls, I didn’t have to set them up again which meant I could jump right into cleaning and outfitting.

Cleaning is done, and outfitting is almost done. I think the difficult part will be the necklace (not shown) since it’s very wide. It could work as an accessory…

I’m not sure when I’ll get this one done, but it should be before Friday at the current rate.
(It’s also not a Bethesda asset, which meant I didn’t have to deal with the issues they always pose. Also, no gloves!)

Afterwards, you won’t hear much from me for about a week due to commissions. The next poll should go up during this time.

On Sunday, I decided to take a bit of time to test some things.

I’d say the result turned out quite well. This workflow can let met create custom mesh extremely fast, faster than chiseling away at a cube. The only issue following is that I’ll have to unfold the UVs and atlas them in such a way I can easily work with the textures.

Now, actually creating the textures? Maybe some other day…
