Regarding Patreon
August will resume normal operations. However, tiers $15 and up will be closed for now.
This pushes my workload from 5 mods per month (2 patreon + 3 commissions) to only patreon mods. So ideally, I can only get 1-2 clothing ports done this month, depending on how difficult the clothes are. The rest of the time is up in the air.

[Mod] Doll Body Concept

This is an update to an old mod.
Left is DD, right is original.

Version 0.4
Added a DD version with tighter joints and a higher torso.
Added nails to the pantyhose version.

Coordinates will load old version of the top and pantyhose versions. The DD versions should appear right under them in the clothes selection.

This mod was originally a test for fun that attempts to make doll joints by cutting up the original HS bodymesh. It’s just a mesh edit, so there’s nothing complex going on.
It’s not compatible with UC2.

Blog Jul 15

Fixed an issue with the graphite mod. There was some floating mesh and clippings that needed to be addressed, so they were addressed.

Nova progress is about there. Still needs some work, which should be done this week.

Technical Details

Quite a lot of roll bones I need to take into account. Upper arms, lower arms, some even have to be keyed manually, especially the lower arms.

I don’t know the process Blender takes, but it should be the same once everything has been imported into unity. There seems to be a way to do an FBX import into SB3UGS, but I don’t have a clue.


Doll Body

I’m also remaking the doll body. It’s basically to improve compatibility with clothes and move the torso seam higher to matcher newer DD dollfies instead of old school.

July 1st Progress

If you were a patron, you’ve read about my look into custom animation.

Importing animations into StudioNeo has been possible since last year’s Halloween. However, the main issue was that the method I used replaces existing animations, which isn’t ideal at all.

I looked into another modder’s work and found out how to get the game to add new animation categories. This was just the break I needed. With this, I can basically add new animations into the game by replacing a copied animation set without touching vanilla assets.

Since I’ve been busy with clothes, and life, I never really had time to build a custom animation rig for HS. I’m not a fan of HumanIK, which is basically an auto rigger. It’s good for animation retargeting though.

The importing process is rather easy. The thing is, I need things to import.
I don’t know what the process is like with Blender, so I sadly can’t help anyone in that regard. However, if there was someone who knows how to rig in blender, give me a holler on discord and we can try banging our heads together.
