Blog Feb 22

Typing this at midnight so I don’t forget.

Erza will be available to Embers tomorrow here.
A commissioned set of clothes was released earlier this week.

A fancy gown and bikini.

Ember access is on the 26th. Public on the 5th of March.

Custom polls is now open to the public. I’ve already tallied votes from my patrons, but I’d like to hear what other people think. You can vote here.

The top three as of this post are:
1: Sword Maiden
2: Fasalina
3: Agent

Sadly, I wasn’t able to get through everything as fast as I wanted this month.
Things I still need to do:
Convert test mods to complete mods.
Make test suit, either Sword Maiden or a random set of clothes.

I still need to figure out what clothes I should do for the next test suit. I have access to higher quality textures for SKILL Special Force 2, but I also want to get started on Sword Maiden.

As of this post, I am currently working on two commissions at the same time. I should be finish on Friday, this leaves me the weekend to try and finish the last commission for February.

This hopefully would leave me free on the last week of February to finish strong with the poll winner, work on Sword Maiden, or get those suits.

Feb 15

Red Witch is now available to the public. Get the clothes in the previous post.

================================================================

Erza is at the last stage. It should actually be done tomorrow at the earliest.

I’ve also opened up a poll for patrons for what custom clothes they’d like to see. Here are the current rankings as of this post.

1st: Sword Maiden
2nd: Fasalina
3rd: Red Saber

My personal pick is Blazermate. Fetish aside, Sword Maiden looks like a fun project too.

You can see my custom modeling tests in previous posts or in this twitter post: https://twitter.com/KoramaAnteHS/status/1094313337918152705

================================================================

This week has been a bit of hell. I got into a shouting contest that caused me to strain my voice. Along with that, I got double teamed by a fever and allergies. A tickle in the back of my throat throws me into a coughing fit for up to five minutes at a time.

I also burnt my mouth drinking hot water, so for the past several days, I’ve been waking up with my mouth filled with mucus.

As I’m typing this, the only issue I have now is my jaw feeling sore out of nowhere and allergies throwing me into a coughing fit, but I now have an excuse to wear my scarf over my face indoors.

Patreon voted port. Original page here.

Be sure to have HSPE~!

There’s some unavoidable issues due to shoulder stuff, but it should be better than what was seen with Kokoro’s casual set.

Coordinate is included. Guitar is studio item named Marlene under weapons.
Two color channels for some.

Progress Feb 8

Red Witch (I-No) is now available to embers here.
Public access is next week!

Polls will be ending sometime on the weekened. After I complete this final commission.
If you’re a patron, be sure to cast your votes here.
Lowest scoring item gets knocked out, and at least two new items takes its place.
If you’re an Ember user or above, you can also make suggestion to poll items, so get right to it! Higher tier is higher priority.

After this final commission is done, the next two mods are going to the Patreon, and a public commission.

The new poll will be up sometime next week.

If you’re wondering what Radiant patrons got to play with for the last week or so, custom clothes! Granted, the quality reflects only 5~8 hours of work in a single day, so it’s completely flat, and kind of low poly.
It makes me wonder how much I can actually achieve when given more time?
This means more time for the polygon, the texturing, the normal mapping, etc…

I will be trying to get two of the test mods out for public release soon. I haven’t had time to work on them as much as I want to.

I’m hitting burnout again because of multiple projects, including that other project outside of HS.
Oh help me HS lord, give me something cute to work with.

[Mod] Heavy Armor 04

Commissioned Port. Original Patreon post here.

Despite it not looking like real heavy armor, it’s classified as heavy.
Tera logic.

It has quite a number of parts. Swimsuit section.

I was planning on using Bonesframework on the tail dress, but the standard skirt bones worked out nicely.

Pretty basic half off.

Coordinate is included.
Single color channel.

January to February Roundup

I-NO is now available for Shining Light patrons.
Embers can access it on the 8th.
Public access is on the 15th.

This one took some time partly due to the fact that I employed a new tech only Roy12 has done.
I think I spent more time on the weight painting and texture work than I did outfitting.

On January, I was able to finish 4 out of 6 commissions.
Two of those commissions where public release mods as Long Gown and Heavy Armor 04.
Myuria was released at the end of December, CruX in the middle, and I-No at the end.

Clothes tested are as of last session are:
Himiko Toga – Low Priority. Might not be converted.
Lovey Angel Custom – Low Priority. Needs to be completed.
Castlevania Judgement Carmilla – Low Priority. Looks nice, but fisnet texture needs rethinking.
Lords of Shadows Carmilla – Not being considered. Too many holes.

Clothes being considered for polishing
Rena Lanford:
Easy fittings, but has loose clothings that hangs around the shoulder. Clipping cannot be avoided.
Snow White: Despite it being low quality, demand is pretty high. I expected someone else to have done this already, but apparently not?

A test mod needs to be made to follow I-NO.
The last two commissions needs to be done so I start February set at the start of February, and not the end.

February will proceed like usual.
I eventually want to start making custom clothes so I can expand my ventures and have something to fall back on.

I am so ever thankful to my Patrons keeping me afloat.
I am also thankful to those who approached me with job offers despite my schedule not being the best, thus forcing me to decline.

Let’s make February a lovely month.

======================

I’ve been working on a rifle movement cycle over the past week for another client. Gotta start slow cycles next week as well as another misc actions.
Another former client apparently has something for me again too, and he’s never good at explaining anything.
